The San Diego County Water Authority and its 24 member agencies, including Vista Irrigation District, are asking the community to help the San Diego Food Bank provide emergency food to vulnerable families and seniors affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and its North County Food Bank chapter comprise the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. The Food Bank distributes food to those in need at 200 distribution sites across the county as well as through 500 nonprofits with feeding programs. Monetary donations received by the Food Bank will be used to purchase food items to be given to those in need.
Vista Irrigation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Vista Irrigation District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
